GH Gators Swim Team
Our 25 meter pool has both a diving board and a slide and a wading pool is available for our younger members. All lifeguards are Starguard or Red Cross certified and are on duty during all business hours.

During swim season, pool staff can be contacted by calling (434) 985-7328 ext 27 (office) or ext 30 (pool deck).

Normal summer operating schedule:
- Open Monday-Thursday from 10:00 am - 7:00 pm
- Open Friday-Sunday from 10:00 am - 8:00 pm.
The pool closes at 3:00 pm on days that the GHC Gators hosts JSL swim meets. Swim meet dates for 2010 are

Swim Lessons:
Swim Lessons will begin on June 14, 2010. Lessons will be offered to both members and non-members. Fees for swim lessons are:
Members: $40 for group lessons / $50 for individual lessons
Non-Members: $50 for group lessons / $70 for individual lessons

Swim Parties:
Swim parties are open to all members of Greene Hills -- young and old alike! A nominal fee will be charged to cover the costs of the refreshments provided. The dates for those pool parties are:

GATORS READY TO SPLASH INTO 2010 SEASON
The 2010 summer swim team season is upon us. Practice will begin on Monday, May 24. Registration will take place during the first week of practice. Parents should arrive with their swimmers at least 20 minutes early on the first night of practice to ensure registration. Swimmers who were on the team last year will begin the year in the same practice group and time. New swimmers should contact Coach Chris at 985-6920 or e-mail at ct3a@virginia.edu to determine their initial grouping and practice time. The swim team will be outfitted in the same suits used in the 2008 and 2009 seasons. If you will need a new suit, Rivanna Gear and Apparel will be visiting Greene Hills on Monday, May 24 with suits and a representative to help with fitting. Please remember to dress warmly for after practice and please bring tennis shoes in case the water temperature is too cold to get in. We look forward to another great season!

Costs for Greene Hills Gators:
Remember, beginning 2011, all swim team members must be members of GHC. 2009 Swim team members who are not members of GHC will be grandfathered for 1 year and allowed to swim on the swim team for the 2010 season. Any new (2010) swim team member must also be a member of GHC. The new seasonal pool and tennis memberships make this requirement quite affordable.
For members of GHC: $60 for the 1st swimmer and $5 less for each additional swimmer in the family (Minimum fee per swimmer of $50).
For those who are not members of GHC: $170 per swimmer and $10 less for each additional swimmer in the family (Minimum fee per swimmer of $150) Non-member fee includes a pass to enter the Greene Hills Club pool for 10 free swims.
These fees include a t-shirt for each swimmer.
