The Greene Hills Club Annual Meeting will be held the 22nd of May at 7:00pm in the Hills Grille banquet area.
The Greene Hills Club was incorporated in 1968. The Board of Directors consists of nine members who are stockholder or spouses of family member stockholders. Elections are held every year on the fourth Wednesday in May. The term for each director is three years. A third of the directors is newly elected each year. The principal officers include a president, vice-president, secretary and treasurer. These officers are elected by the Board and serve one-year terms, with no limit to the number of terms they may serve.
In 2006, the Board of Directors established standing committees to advise the Board on specific functions of GHC. The chair of each committee, except the Long Range Planning Committee, must be a member of the Board. These standing committees are:
- Golf Operations
- Golf Tournaments & Social
- Pool and Tennis
- Plant Property
- Long Range Planning
Committee members are appointed by the Board. More details about the responsibilities of each committee and the Board of Directors can be found in the bylaws. The Bylaws define our organization and how it functions while the Rules describe procedures for daily operations.
Wireless access to the internet is available in the pool area, the Hills Grille, and in the Pro Shop. This is open, unsecured access just as you find in many coffee shops and restaurants.
